Brookside will preserve the vast majority of the trees in the open space areas of the site, including all of its protected oak and walnut trees. Our tree plan will actually result in an increase in the total number of trees on the property. Far more important than the number of trees, however, is the quality of those trees, which will improve under our tree plan as we replace non-native and invasive trees with California native trees.
