How will you protect Lemon Creek from runoff from the homes?

The Brookside plan will protect Lemon Creek by managing runoff from developed portions of the site. On-site runoff will be channeled to the community’s two new water quality basins, where it will be naturally treated using plants and engineered soils selected for their ability to absorb pollutants. During storm events, the basins will slowly release the runoff after the storm peak has passed, which will help to protect the creek from erosion damage.
