What will be done to ensure the protection of special status species on the site?
Brookside will comply with California laws requiring that impacts to special status species be avoided when possible, and that mitigations (special protection plans) be designed and used to protect these species from any impacts that cannot be avoided. Site surveys conducted as part of the Environmental Impact Report process assessed the presence, if any, of special status species or their habitat on the site.
